Here at Parkside Community Fellowship you’ll find Parabolē Productions, a vibrant and fun drama company. Our mission is to bring Bible stories to life, especially the parables told by Jesus. Our company name, Parabolē, is the Greek word for parables and really captures the essence of our ministry; using contemporary and ancient life stories to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to our 21st century.
We write and produce all our own work, from 5-minute sketches in church services and community events to full length musicals in professional theatres.
We’re always looking for people to get involved so don’t feel that you need to have reached a certain standard before coming along to an audition. In fact we have been known to offer parts to people who have never acted before! Though we aim to improve your acting skills we do have an emphasis on having fun and our rehearsal sessions are as much about fellowship as they are about performing.
However, if performing is really not your thing then don’t worry as there are loads of other back stage roles that you can get involved with, so there’s no reason to feel left out!
